Kargil Vijay Diwas – A Story of Courage for Our Little Heroes
Share
Dear Little Learners and Parents,
Today, let’s take a moment to remember a very special day for our country—Kargil Vijay Diwas, celebrated every year on 26th July. This day is all about bravery, love for the nation, and the strong hearts of our Indian soldiers.
What is Kargil Vijay Diwas?
Many years ago, in 1999, some brave Indian soldiers climbed very high mountains in a place called Kargil (in Jammu & Kashmir) to protect our country. It was very cold, snowy, and difficult to climb—but they didn’t stop!
They were strong, just like superheroes, and they made sure that our India stayed safe and peaceful. We call this special day “Vijay Diwas” because “Vijay” means victory!
👨✈️ Why Do We Celebrate It?
We celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas to:
* Thank our soldiers for their courage.
* Remember their sacrifice and hard work.
* Learn to be brave, honest, and kind like them.
🌟 What Can Young Children Learn?
Even though little kids don’t fight in wars, we can learn many important things from our brave soldiers:
* Always tell the truth.
* Help others when they need you.
* Work as a team.
* Love your country and respect everyone.
